The Power of Collaboration

Today I feel so much joy and gratitude for my community and for the amazingly strong and empowering people I have in my life right now. While our dear friends Mason Pain and Gia Scavuzza visited Pueblo last summer to share some beautiful workshops, I felt my heart opening to collaboration. Gia talked about the need for collaboration on a scale larger than I had ever thought about. The idea that to achieve my goals I had to flex my muscles and push my away along on my own began to dissolve.

With that heart opening and shift, opportunities began to unfold for me in ways I couldn't have imagined. From June to November, the flow has conitinued!! I am having an amazing time teaching at Fountain of Health Yoga Studio, Nova Stella and Open Studio Yoga. I am feeling so much unity and collaboration with other yoga teachers, healers like Janetta Quiroz, Kierra K King and Larry King, artists like Matte Refic and my partner Travis Cleveland. I am also pleased to announce that I am partnering with a fellow adventurer, Rachel Kutskill, owner of Fit Instincts on a Winter Series Workshop, Fitness without Walls, a 3-month fitness program.

What I am feeling the need to express right now is the importance of building each other up. The recognition of how powerful it can be to collaborate with others who are operating on a similar wavelength because community and collaboration is so much more powerful than competition. We can see other people offering something similar to what we do and we can look at them as competition or we can look at them as a potential partner, a collaborator. If someone is doing something that you like, let them know! I am so glad that Rachel did that! I had been noticing what Rachel was doing for quite a while and the success that her clients were having and I was so thrilled when she reached out with this wonderful idea. We have COLLABORATED to bring an offering that will EMPOWER our clients to set goals and make steady progress to achieving them in a SUPPORTED way!

Every day is an adventure. Be open to possibilities. Speak your truth. I'll leave you with this quote:

"Find a group of people who challenge and inspire you, spend a lot of time with them, and it will change your life." – Amy Poehler

With Love!
